Whyte says

Built around Whyte’s proven QUAD-Link suspension system, but taking a leap forward in materials and construction technology, the Whyte E-5 has earned its stripes as a hugely successful endurance race bike in the capable hands of UK champion Steve Heading, winning Polaris and Trailquest events across the UK. The E-5 continues to set the standard for weather-proof construction and with the combination of lightweight performance, class-leading frame stiffness and year round reliability, it remains the choice of endurance racers and competitive X-C riders alike.
