For £1499 you would expect the Whyte 905 to have arguably the best components you can find and without doubt it doesn’t disappoint. A very capable cross-country and trial mountain bike that can easily cope with any ride you take it on. Braking comes in the form of Hayes powerful hydraulic Stroker Trail’s with front and rear discs finished with Stroker Trail levers.
The drive comes in the form of Shimano’s SLX Crank complemented with Shimano Deore shifters and a range topping Shimano SLX rear mech. The frame is the 23lb hydro formed triple butted Aluminium 6061 which can be easily lifted and carried without any problem if required. The forks are Rock ShoxReba SL which incorporate maxle light with 120mm of travel and motion control damping with turnkey lockout. The rims are Mavic XM 317 with the high rolling Maxxis Aspen tyres. Overall: It is easily the best bike in its price range in my opinion.
