About Specialized Vita bikes

Vita is Specialized's aluminium framed, flat handlebar, speedy road commuter / fitness range. With slicker tyres the Vita range is most at home on Tarmac but will happily tackle some light off road terrain such as towpaths and smooth trails. The Vita Elite, Comp and Pro models feature 'Zertz' rubber inserts in the forks to help absorb vibrations and the Vita Pro also comes with 'Zertz' rubber inserts built into the rear of the frame for added vibration absorption. Mudguard and rear rack mounts help make the Vita range even more versatile and as well as being practical commuting bikes they would also easily cope with light touring use. In addition to the women's specific geometry the Vita range also boasts a number of women's specific components such as cranks, saddles and grips. Specialized's Sirrus collection is the men's equivalent to the Vita range. For a range of similar purpose and price bikes but with drop handlebars consider Specialized's aluminium framed Dolce collection.

Specialized bicycles carry a lifetime warranty on the frame; this warranty is not extendable to or transferable from the original owner. Front forks, FSR frame stays and all other components are covered by the UK s statutory 2-year warranty. Specialized own branded suspension units carry a 5 year limited warranty; this warranty is void if regular servicing is not carried out.
