About Specialized Stumpjumper FSR bikes

Go up from the 26" wheeled Camber and you'll find the Stumpjumper FSR, first introduced 30 years ago. The range is Specialized's full suspension Mountain Bike offering engineered for gnarlier trail riding and is available with an aluminium frame (Comp & Comp EVO) and also with carbon fibre frame (Comp Carbon, Expert Carbon Evo, Expert Carbon & S-Works Carbon). The Stumpjumper FSR has more suspension travel than the Camber (140mm instead of 120mm) making it a great all rounder that will climb well and eat up more demanding trails and descents that you'll typically find in places such as the Lake District and Wales. As you go up the range expect bikes to be lighter and offer better specifications. For cheaper full suspension bikes with less front and rear suspension travel but still capable of the same kind of trail riding consider bikes in the 26" Camber range.

Specialized says

The M5 aluminum Stumpjumper FSR Comp EVO is purpose-built for the aggressive trail rider. It separates itself from other carbon Stumpys with a slacker head angle and 150mm of front and rear travel. The Comp EVO features a custom Fox RP2 shock with AUTOSAG and ProPedal, RockShox Revelation RL fork, custom Avid Elixir 7 SL hydraulic disc brakes, and a 2.3" Specialized Butcher Control front tire.
