About Specialized Sirrus bikes

Sirrus is Specialized's aluminium framed, flat handlebar, speedy road commuter / fitness range with the top of the range Sirrus Limited frame being carbon fibre. With slicker tyres the Sirrus range is most at home on Tarmac but will happily tackle some light off road terrain such as towpaths and smooth trails. The Sirrus Elite, Comp, Pro and Limited models feature 'Zertz' rubber inserts in the forks to help absorb vibrations and both the Sirrus Pro and Limited come with 'Zertz' rubber inserts built into the rear of the frame for added vibration absorption. Mudguard and rear rack mounts help make the Sirrus range even more versatile and as well as being practical commuting bikes they would also easily cope with light touring use. Specialized's Vita collection is the women's equivalent to the Sirrus range. For a range of similar purpose and price bikes but with drop handlebars consider Specialized's aluminium framed Secteur collection. For a range of similar purpose and price bikes with drop handlebars and more powerful brakes ideal for busy commutes consider Specialized's Tricross range. If you'd prefer a bike with front suspension that's as good off road as it is on then Specialized's Crosstrail range is worth a look.

Specialized bicycles carry a lifetime warranty on the frame; this warranty is not extendable to or transferable from the original owner. Front forks, FSR frame stays and all other components are covered by the UK s statutory 2-year warranty. Specialized own branded suspension units carry a 5 year limited warranty; this warranty is void if regular servicing is not carried out.
