About Specialized Ruby bikes

The carbon fibre framed Ruby range is Specialized's women's endurance road collection. The Ruby range is equivalent to the men's Roubaix range and is designed to offer a balance of comfort and speed. With a back friendly geometry that's ideal for longer days in the saddle the Ruby range is the perfect companion for the more serious road cyclist looking for a sportive bike that's also a good all-rounder. Ruby frames also feature shaped seatstays with rubber 'Zertz' inserts to help absorb vibrations and further improve comfort. In addition to the women's specific geometry the Ruby range also boasts a number of women's specific components such as cranks, saddles and handlebars. For a cheaper range of aluminium framed women's road bikes check out Specialized's Dolce range. If you're happy to compromise comfort for even more speed you should consider Specialized's race minded Amira range.
