About Specialized Crosstrail bikes

The aluminium framed Crosstrail range is Specialized's hardtail hybrid collection that's designed to be as good off road as it is on. Crosstrail bikes are a great commuter option especially if your commute includes a number of different terrain types. Crosstrail bikes are also perfectly capable of some weekend singletrack riding or a more gentle circuit of your local park or forest. Like Sirrus bikes the Crosstrail range uses larger 700c wheels (as opposed to 26") but features wider tyres with a smooth centre section for speed on road with grippy side knobs for good traction off road. Up front these bikes offer 75mm of suspension with forks on the Crosstrail Sport Disc, Comp Disc, Pro Disc and Limited Disc all having a lock-out function for more efficient pedalling on smooth surfaces where suspension isn't needed. Mudguard and rear rack mounts help make the Crosstrail range even more versatile and as well as being practical commuting / weekend bikes they would also easily cope with light touring use. For a more road specific range of similarly priced commuter bikes consider Specialized's flat handlebar Sirrus range. For a range of similarly priced bikes better suited to mainly off road riding consider Specialized's Hardrock or Rockhopper range of Mountain Bikes.

Front forks, FSR frame stays and all other components are covered by the UK s statutory 2-year warranty. Specialized own branded suspension units carry a 5 year limited warranty; this warranty is void if regular servicing is not carried out.
