The Sportster series emphasizes comfort and convenience. The frame design offers the rider a smooth ride and plenty of standover clearance. Frame eyelets allow for easy mounting of the URBAN-KIT rack and fender system so you can carry your things dry and hassle free.

Owner Reviews

The first thing is the seat - it's truly awful. The narrow design means the rails are wider than the seat, so it rubs on your inner thighs with every pedal stroke. Seriously, this is criminal ergonomics, and the bike is literally unrideable as it comes. I am 5'11" and weigh 155lbs, but I think this would be even worse for anyone with some meat on them. One 15 mile ride left me walking like Jon Wayne for days afterward. It's fine now with a replacement seat but why should you have to do that?

The rest of the bike is fine, but not great. I got this from my insurance company when my Kona Hahanna which I'd fitted road tyres to got stolen. It seemed like a great idea, like a race bike but a bit more sturdy, so theoretically ideal for the type of street riding I do. It could be, but somehow the ergonomics just aren't quite there. It could also use a wider, kicked back handlebar but I think there's more "wrong" with it than that, the frame simply doesn't seem well proportioned. Going by the seat I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even do any ergonomics testing at all on this bike.

If I had the same amount of money (it's not a lot but neither is it desparately cheap) to spend I would probably go for Carrera's Subway. Because of the ergonomics I can't recommend this bike at all and wouldn't even consider buying another one.
