Scott says

The RANSOM has redefined All-Mountain riding. It offers a maximum of suspension and outstanding dampening technology combined with lightweight construction. The patented Equalizer TC shock is the heart of this exceptional bike and offers three suspension modes through the patented Traction Control system. Rene Wildhaber benefits from this technology and used it in 2008 to win the prestigious Mega Avalanche Race at Alpe D'Huez for the fourth time.
