Upgraded to this bike after 8 years on my old clunker after much research, having had 32 years in the vehicle repair trade i found that i couldnt set up the Equaliser 2 rear shock mechanism...what the hell go out and ride i thought....managed to climb a steep ascent that id previously had to dismount on...great...noooo!!!...on rutted tracks pedals grounded due to ride height being far far too low, going through tech tree lined runs those tree roots caused severe probs. So a call to the selling dealer was in order, after talking to the tech guy and he realised that i knew what i was talking about he suggested returning to one of their shops..this would take me 4 hours to take, come back , collect and come back...i suggested they send me a new assembly and i would send back the faulty unit...fair offer i thought....no can do sir!!!, send it to us, we will send it to manuacturer, they will repair, send it back to us and we will forward to you. This was the only option so reluctantly agreed.....eventually it returned, bike in "dock" for 3 weeks, back on old clunker and pushing up hills!!!....refitted it and wow!!! will not bend pedals now...long story but cant fault bike, does everything i ask for......but Scott...better customer service please, this problem could have been sorted within a week...especially as after more research im not the only person that has had this problem
