About Scott Contessa bikes
Contessa is Scott's entry level, aluminium framed, women's hardtail Mountain Bike range with 100mm of front suspension travel perfect for exploring local trails and tracks. The Contessa 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 are equivalent to the men's Aspect hardtail Mountain Bike range offering a more comfortable geometry, making them ideal for anyone new to the sport or on a tight budget. Cheaper Contessa models use v-brakes but going up the range models are equipped with either mechanical or hydraulic disc brakes. The frame which remains the same throughout the range includes eyelets for mounting a rear rack with more expensive models being equipped with higher specification components and therefore having more gears. More serious Mountain Bikers looking for a range of performance hardtail Mountain Bikes should consider Scott's Contessa Scale range.

| Standard SCOTT warranty on frames is 3 years from the date of purchase or 5 years with a full service history from a SCOTT dealer. SCOTT parts aside from the frame are covered by a standard 1 year warranty. Proof of purchase must be provided for every warranty claim. Other manufacturers parts on SCOTT frames are covered by their own individual warranties. |
