The Aspect range of mountain hardtails is designed to be light, efficient, and reasonably priced. The bikes feature comfortable geometry with sloping top tubes to ensure adequate standover height, and the headtube and seat angles ensure responsive handling and precise steering. All Aspect frames are built with double butted 6061alloy tubing and replaceable derailleur hangers for long frame life.

My second mountain bike, my first with front suspension, i love this bike, i use it for mountain biking 2-3 days a week (Chihuahua, Chih. Mexico mountains and roads), it handles very well, its weight its ok, very well constructed and the thing a like the most is that can be upgraded very easy, you dont have to buy a new bike. Its perfect for a beginner like me, and after all Scott is very reliable company. I try a friend's Gary Fisher and the Aspect 60 doesn't ask for anything. A good buy for the beginer. In the future think about adding a new transimission, disc brakes and tubeless tires.

just picked up the 2011 model of this bike, it is superb value and well worth the money. padded shorts required of that there is no doubt as bumps on road or tracks are a pain. gears are a doddle and has excellent brakes. aint had a bike for years but this is a superb bit of kit.
