Ridgeback says

The transition between walking, freewheeling and steering is simple. The Scoot s rear brake establishes early understanding of how to slow down. Once balance is mastered, it s then just a small step to move onto a bike with pedals without the need for stabilizers. Supplied with two seat posts for widest sizing range, Scoot has a very high specification level including a lightweight alloy frame, alloy rims and semi slick tyres. With full bearings throughout, domed wheel nuts, safety tabs and a V-brake, there is no better beginner bike. Also available in the following colours; Blue, Silver, Lemon Lime, Tangerine

Owner Reviews

This bike has been a really good buy. We bought it back in early 2009 when our little girl was only 2. She quickly got the hang of balancing and was off whizzing around on it. We did however have to take the brake off as at that age she did not grasp the full concept of it; we put it back on early this year. She still frequently scoots around on it and does show off by balancing her legs on the back wheel bar, she recognises that it is now too small and basic for her and keeps asking for one with pedals and stabilisers; we are hoping to get the next size up and hopefully will not require the stabilisers.
