Red Spokes is a specialist company taking small groups of
cyclist to spectacular and remote areas of the world. Our tours
offer a unique blend of physical challenges, cultural experiences
and cycling camaraderie - all at highly competitive prices.
The popularity of our established tours to Laos, Vietnam, Kerala,
Tibet and Peru has led to an increase in the number of trips we are
running. In addition to these popular destinations we continue to
offer tours to more remote areas such as Tajikistan, the Karakoram
Highway and Kyrgyzstan. These tours are for the discerning
traveller seeking adventure, discovery and the challenges of
destinations new to tourism.
We have taken on new guides to run these extra tours, all of whom
are experienced cyclists and tour leaders. We would particularly
like to welcome Suresh Dulal to the team. Originally from Nepal and
the former Nepalese national cycling champion, Suresh is now based
in the UK. He has led groups in Tibet and Nepal for us in 2009 and
will be running our new itinerary in Nepal in 2010.
New destinations this year are: Cambodia, Bolivia/Peru,
Argentina/Chile and Vietnam/ Laos. The trips are already attracting
a lot of interest
Red Spokes is the leading specialist company for high altitude
cycling. Our tours to Tibet and the Indian Himalayas remain as
popular as ever. In Tibet you will cross five major passes
over 5, 000 metres and in India you will climb the highest road
pass in the world. Each trip presents its own challenges and we
rate them as expeditions rather than holidays.
