If drivers fail to see you in this then they need to think about driving with their eyes open. This jacket is one of the best selling, most highly visible, reflective waterproofs around and yet it won't burn a hole in your wallet. The Night Vision is a warm jacket. It is waterproof, with taped seams and water resistant zips, but not extremely breathable so it's less comfortable to wear in the summer. The mesh lining, venting at either side and back vents go some way to offsetting this, but cycling at full pelt through the rainy streets you can't avoid the sweatiness. Its two pockets on the chest and back are useful, but if you're wearing gloves you could find the chest one slightly small and awkward to get your hand inside. This ladies version fits a woman's body shape well. The arms are long enough to reach to the handle bars, the drop tail covers your bum and a draw cord pulls the bottom of the jacket in to avoid the draughts. All in all this jacket is a simple, nicely designed and durable high viz option great for cold and wet commuting at a very reasonable price.
