Giant have launched a new click and collect online retail site this month, with 150 bikes now available to buy direct.
Popping online for a quick squizz, The Bike List noted that the site is well organised with a straightforward layout that guides you through the different types of Giant bike available. For example, under Off-Road it says “I ride singletrack and dirt paths” and under X-Road it says “I ride a mix of dirt and pavement”. Then there are further Performance, Sport and Lifestyle choices to identify your style of riding so that you can quickly identify which bike and price-range might be best for you within the Giant range.
Bikes range from the top end Giant TCR Advanced SL 0 at £7,499 for road cycling and the £3,399 Anthem X 0 29'er full suspension mountain bike, through to sub £1000 commuter bikes like the Escape RX 0 and stylish lifestyle rides like the Sedona at £349.
Giant say they are working hand in hand with independent Giant retail partners to ensure customers get the right fitting bike and this new Click & Collect service is available at participating Giant stockists across the country. Giant say, “Click & Collect offers consumers the confidence of buying from a global brand, the convenience of ordering online and the personal touch and expertise of a local Giant retailer.”
The site will initially open for UK mainland and Northern Ireland orders, with plans to roll out to Southern Ireland in spring 2012, as well as expanding to include Giant’s ever-growing cycling gear ranges.
