Marin says

When we first mocked up the latest 2010 XLT our test team were amazed at the smoothness and supple performance of the improved Quad-link system. Whether you are making your statement by launching huge trail obstacles or making your mark on the UK downhill race scene, you ll not need more bike than the new 180mm travel Quake. This year we have added the same HammerSchmidt compatibility of the Attack Trail, making the new improved Quake a stunning and versatile playmate.

About Marin

Marin County has some of the world's best riding and we continue to take our inspiration from the same earthquake faulted landscape that inspired the early pioneers. The Mountain remains the same, but the way we ride it and the lines we take have changed. One thing however still unites every Marin bike ever made - the outstan

I have this frame due to it been replaced and rides fast down hill and realy responsive!.. The only downside is the size of the head tube.. you are restricted with a 1.5 steerer fork.. So if your thinking of changing forks you have to consider this. Otherwise.. Top marks!
