Marin says
Simply put, the most efficient riding XC trail bike that exists today. The innovative 2007 Quad XC series of full suspension bikes has grown from our proven 4-bar link platform with major frame evolution and innovations. The hydroformed mainframe is a work of art that maximizes standover for a superior fit, efficiently minimizes stress to typical points of liability, and provides an exceptionally stiff platform from which to anchor the Quad linkage. While the wheel path is similar to that of the 2006 bikes, the linkage system has been completely redesigned to give more travel (120mm) and lower the leverage on the rear shock. This means a bike with better all-mountain abilities, greater small bump compliance, and time-proven pedaling performance.

Marin County has some of the world's best riding and we continue to take our inspiration from the same earthquake faulted landscape that inspired the early pioneers. The Mountain remains the same, but the way we ride it and the lines we take have changed. Advances in materials and construction technology, as well as ever-evolving riding styles, mean that today's Marin bikes bear only a passing resemblance to their ancestors. One thing however still unites every Marin bike ever made - the outstan
