Land Rover Hydro (2010-2011)

I have owned this cycle for four months, my companey runs a cycle to work schem so i ordered this bike. Because I wanted to ride it to work I purchased a set of road tyres and lugage for the comute. I have been riding bikes for 29 30 years and always use silicon based frame protector and clean the bike every weekend, as I do with my other cycle a Mile road Bike. At the begining of August I noticed while cleaning the finish on the front mech was deteriorating and the bike was only four months old and never been off the road. I was asked to return the front mech to Wheelies Cycle solutions who returned the mech saying I had cept the cycle in damp conditions. This Bike has only been riden in summer on the road and been protected with silicon frame protector. Look at the rover web site and the description "for the most ardous conditions" AS long as you dont get it damp?
