Got this frame delivered from 'Fat Birds' last week for £379.99, and if it's a XC hardtail your after I honestly think you'll be hard pushed to beat it, and I don't mean at for less than £500 or even £1000, I mean at all! I was looking at lots of frames to complete my upgrade and settled on either 'cove' or 'kinesis', I've seen plenty of coves about and knew exactly what I'd get for my cash, but never seen a kinesis frame in the flesh, both have outstanding reviews but ultimately my choice was purely down to wanting something a little less common, after building and riding it I don't think they will be uncommon for long.
My frame is fit with fairly mid range kit, SLX gearing, truvativ stylo chainset and reba race forks and still feels as light as a feather, you could easily trim this down to a sub 24lb set up.
If you are thinking of buying one of these then I recommend you just take a leap of faith and get one as they're so rare you'll probably never find one to look at in the skin and if they do it means they have gotten more popular, if that happens I can guarantee they will be a price hike too! In short, take a punt on one, I promise you will not regret it.

Using the same geometry as our New full carbon monocoque, 'Maxlight KM-810' race frame, the XCPro3 is totally new, this is not an XCPro2 facelift, it s full blown re-constructive surgery! The XCPro3 is now more finely tuned, lighter and race ready than ever. The welded gusset is gone, replaced by exclusive to us, Square section, SPF [Superplastic Formed] down tube, SPF top tube is also new. The carbon wishbone has a smoother, slimmer profile and a new layup for greater shock absorption and less weight. Cable stops are now all tucked away under the top tube. Hydroformed chainstays and machined dropouts are lightweight, laterally very stiff and dependable. BB shell is machined in centre to shave some extra grams. The XCPro3 is light too! The 44.5cm frame weighs only 1520g! New graphics and colours complete the package.
