GT says

World Cup Capable. Real-world Rideable.

Just because GT X/C race bike have carried countless rides to the top of local, national and world championships podiums doesn't mean that they're too fragile to be used as an everyday trail machine. Just as capable off-course as they are on, GT X/C bikes are just as durable and reliable as they are nimble and lightweight.
