About GT

GT Bicycles is a large American manufacturer of road, mountain, and bmx bicycles. GT mountain bikes are often readily identifiable by the unique "triple triangle" frame design present in most hard-tail designs. Early BMX frames were also easily identifiable as the top tube seemed to bisect the seat tube and protrude beyond it by approximately an inch-and-a-half towards the rear of the frame. This innovative idea was claimed to reduce the amount of vibration transferred to the seat fr

Owner Reviews

by Geoff Simpson  on 10 Nov 2011
I wanted a flat bar road bike for my 100 miles a week exercise regime. I am at that time in life when drops are no longer comfortable, and absolute speed is now less important than reliability and comfort. After 18 months, this bike has lived up to all expectations. It's quick and agile, and very comfortable over extended distances, the bar ends being particularly comfortable. The components all work supremely well together, and adjustments have been minor and routine with no failures at all. The robust build quality also inspires confidence. If you are looking for a flat bar road bike with road bike bias, then I would highly recommend this one.
