GT says

Once you have one...you'll get it.

To kids, a bike is more than just a hobby, a way to stay fit or even a mode of transportation. It's a vehicle that can literally transport them to a world that is limited only by the confines of their imagination. Given such context, you can understand why when kids break their bikes, they stand to lose a hell of a lot more than we do. Not only does GT understand how important a kid's bike can be to its owner, but also we know the punishment that these bikes need to endure. Hey, they are in fact kids. That's why we apply the same rugged, durable, tried-and-true philosophy to our kids bikes as we do our world cup ready $7,000 pure-bred race machines. Because at the end of the day, it's hard to say which owner would throw a bigger fit if their bike didn't work.
