About GT

GT Bicycles is a large American manufacturer of road, mountain, and bmx bicycles. GT mountain bikes are often readily identifiable by the unique "triple triangle" frame design present in most hard-tail designs. Early BMX frames were also easily identifiable as the top tube seemed to bisect the seat tube and protrude beyond it by approximately an inch-and-a-half towards the rear of the frame. This innovative idea was claimed to reduce the amount of vibration transferred to the seat fr

i bought the medium frame but i had to change the handle-bars and front shank as the handle bars that were on it initially were too narrow and made the bike twitchy....the front shank needed to be longer for me....but after i did that I found the bike to be comfortable for me....also i got rid of the toe straps and changed the pedals....then I have what i think to be the best bike i've ever owned without a doubt.....the feel of riding this light weight single speed is totally awesome...with its simplicity and ease of use, it reminds me of when i was a kid ducking around the backstreets on a BMX....it just has that easiness about it.....up-hills in no less than fun and no messing around with multiple speeds, just get on and ride....the rims feel strong and the bike in all feels sturdy without all the bulk and weight....plus I noticed passing pedestrians commenting on how nice it looks....I highly recommend this bike.
