The new version of the IDOL will be remembered for its innovative and unique design. Just like the first IDOL, that when presented for the first time in 2006 was seen as the real forerunner of "Arc slope" geometry, later to inspire many Italian and other manufacturers. The IDOL 2009 now comes uprated with extensive brand new content. The striking appearance is the first thing to catch the attention, its forceful and elegant shapes, its taut yet muscular lines with the new and carefully studied colour combinations. IDOL is however much more than appearance. More importantly, it is its technical brilliance that shines through, an example of which is the insertion of the rear wish-bone in the main triangle. This new, unique feature entails the bonding of the rear tubes into a "crescent moon section" in the direction of the length of the integrated seat pillar, to increase the reactivity not just of the carriage, but of the entire frame. This structural feature then defines an arched line in the area of the saddle joint making the already attractive design, unique. Furthermore, in addition to the "Oversize" steering, IDOL also has an oversize movement box should a "BB30" central movement be inserted.
