The Giro 500 features a double butted alloy main frame with integrated carbon fibre seat and chain stays. The forks also have carbon fibre blades. The Giro 500 has a complete Shimano setup consisting of WH-RS10 wheels and Tiagra 18 speed gearset. All this is finished off with a Selle Italia saddle, Schwalbe tyres and carbon fibre stem and seatpost.
