Owner Reviews

by Steve  on 18 Jun 2011
I bought the Dawes Galaxy Tourer in November2010 and have used it on the commute to work averaging 40 miles p/week with 50 to 80 mile trips on weekends. I have fitted 50ltr rear panniers and regularly carry about 25 kgs of luggage add my 96kgs and it takes some weight. I have just had to replace the front chainset (several teeth missing on large crank) new chain and rear cassete. Only done approx 4000 miles on it and am disappointed at having to replace these parts so early in the bikes life.have any other cyclists who own one had similar problems how did you resolve them?
