Touring bikes are designed to carry luggage in paniers on racks, mounted to the back and the front of the frame. They tend to have no suspension and narrower tyres, for on-road use. They are essentially like road bikes that allow for a more relaxed, less racing-orientated position.
They may also have mud guards and extra water bottle mounts to support and protect you and your luggage over large distances on exciting biking tours in the UK and abroad.
