Owner Reviews

I use this bike mainly for leisure covering about 30 miles a week on the road and towpaths around the south london suburbs.
This bile is very smooth and eazy to ridde, the gear changes are smooth and the ratio ranges are perfect for my use. I've covered about 1600 miles over the past 18 months, only problem has been a cut front tyre and 3 punctures. Halfords fitted a kevlar liner on the front wheel and I have not had any problems for the last 800 or so miles.
The bike is very well built, I'm a big bloke (17st) and the bike is just as smooth and creak free as it was on the 1st day.
Good service received from my local halfords at Sunbury, well done!

This is all about the special hubs, which include the gears and brakes. Result is very low maintenance and a chain that’s far less likely to come off.

Brakes are powerful, gear shifter is very easy to use and the tyres are efficient. I do recommend upgrading the seat though; it’s fairly hard considering the bike has no suspension at all. I’d recommend a suspension seat post and gel saddle!
